Domiciliary Partner

With our relatively recent move into the domiciliary market, we're now extending our excellent standards of eye care to our housebound customers. This means taking our business out of the high street and into homes.

Key information

Our domiciliary partners lead this side of the business, bringing either optical or relevant domiciliary experience to our offering. Demonstrating genuine passion and care for our customers’ well-being, you’ll also take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.

Business support

Our business development team helps support new partners to maximise the potential of their new venture. You’ll be supported in everything from choosing a location and enhancing business systems through to compiling profit and loss projections, developing leadership skills and improving customer service.

Your own business

As a Joint Venture Partner, you will enjoy all of the benefits of running your own business. Specsavers will support you in every way we can do, just as we have helped 1,500 partners worldwide to achieve their aspirations of becoming a business leader.

Your own territory

As a Joint Venture Partner you’ll be managing your caseload, but you'll be doing it to suit your business ambitions. That means developing your business within your local community, and using all the knowledge you've built up during your career.

Closer to the community

With local ownership, your business is also part of the community – offering greater opportunity for involvement in enhanced services such as local shared care schemes.

Your first step is to apply for the Partnership position you want

After an initial pre-screen, those meeting the requirements will have a telephone interview

Next is the assessment centre. You’ll also complete a questionnaire in advance

Internal candidates will attend Pathway for a 6 month in-store project and final assessment centre

OR

External candidates attend a final assessment centre.

We'll approve candidates for partnership and you'll join our waiting list/talent pools

If you've registered interest in a specific store, there is an extra stage where you will attend the Partner Selection Centre.

Bespoke training

There's more to running your own business than many people imagine. Which is why we support our Joint Venture Partners in making that transition. Pathway, our internal partner development programme is a tailor-made package that helps aspiring partners develop the commercial and people skills they need to make their business a success.
