Though the challenges they face and the work they do are obviously quite different, ultimately these two teams share a common goal: to reduce costs, minimise risk and maximise growth opportunities for the business.

Acquisitions

Within Property Services, this team assesses the viability of investing in new or existing stores. Working closely with the Business Development team, they carry out a comprehensive analysis of the local market and, where it’s in our interests to grow, acquire new property or oversee the expansion of an existing store.

Estate Management

Also part of Property Services, this team handles all property issues on behalf of our stores. Their workload, which is large and varied, extends to everything from reviewing rents and renewing leases to rating, service charges, landlord’s consents and statutory compliance.

Programme Management

The team here ensures that our major change programmes are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest possible standards. Their work includes everything from enterprise portfolio planning and analysis to strategic programme support, and from resource demand and capability management to best practice and quality assessment.
