Within our Treasury team, we provide a finance banking service to our Joint Venture Partners (JVPs) by providing a banking service to all our Specsavers stores in the UK, Netherlands, ROI and group companies. The department is primarily responsible for the management and service of in-house bank accounts, reconciliation of Specsavers Finance external bank accounts and the maintenance of the effective application of banking transactions and the secure and timely release of all outward payments.
The Group Treasury Administrator’s role is to prepare and authorise/release of payment batches on all electronic platforms as appropriate within given deadlines, bank account reconciliation investigations, and to assist Store Directors and staff with bank account related queries and any challenges at bank counter. In addition, the role is responsible for arrange orders of store paying in books and assisting the team with cross-functional duties.
A “first time right” attitude, attention to detail and good communication skills are key as you will be supporting the team with improving customer service to the wider finance team and JVPs.
You will be 'systems orientated' and hold good Excel skills. You should have an eye for numeracy and good written English skills and accurate typing skills.
