Assistant Manager - Hyde

Role summary

Our Specsavers store in Hyde, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager.

This is a role for an experienced Assistant Manager, as you’ll be reporting into the General Manager and Directors.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be part of the team that is the force driving our store to success by setting standards, inspiring staff, and leading by example. The role encompasses many aspects of management, such as administration, clinic diary coordination, people management, recruitment and business management. You’ll help manage store operations, ensuring that customer care is nothing less than excellent – and that financial goals are met. We are looking for an expert team leader who lives our values.

You’ve got solid experience in the optical industry in a Management role, so you know exactly what a superb store looks like. You’ll work to this ideal, raising aspirations and standards to ensure that the whole team strives for excellence. Leadership skills are crucial. You’ll need to be approachable and supportive, as well as persuasive and convincing. On top of this, you’ll need strong commercial acumen and an organised approach. If you’re as passionate about what you do as we are, you’ll soon be on the road to even bigger and better things.

Optical experience would be advantageous and preferred for this role, but not completely necessary.
