Recently, a number of our stores have undergone exciting makeovers designed to pave the way for the Specsavers stores of the future. Our flagship store in Sutton-in-Ashfield, for example, was completely revamped back in August in order to bring the latest in optical technology to local customers and set the pace for optics moving forward.
With Optical Assistants now able to fit glasses using specialist imaging software on tablet devices, teams at stores such as Sutton-in-Ashfield can ensure they’re delivering both the perfect fit for each customer and, in turn, an outstanding level of service.
Stores such as Specsavers Melton Mowbray have also had refits in response to an increase in customer demand. Thanks to a refurbishment of facilities, Optical Assistants can now offer customers initial services in a dedicated pre-testing area, called the Diagnostic Suite.
As Nigel Davidson, Retail Director at Sutton-in-Ashfield, explains, the adjustments made to stores in recent months have all been completed with staff in mind:
