Specsavers Recruitment Services recognised alongside the very best

Our very own in-house recruitment team (SRS) have been nominated as finalists in no less
than four categories at this years’ In-house Recruitment Awards - the annual award ceremony hosted by the In-House Recruitment Network to recognise the achievements of the UK’s
leading recruitment teams.

The Specsavers Recruitment Services team have been nominated alongside several industry leaders for their continued growth and success in an ever-challenging recruitment industry – largely down to the implementation of numerous highly innovative and cutting-edge recruitment techniques and strategies over the past 12 months.

The four categories the team have been nominated for are as follows:

Recruitment Innovation: The ‘Recruitment Innovation’ Award celebrates companies that have utilised never-before-seen strategies to combat specific challenges within recruitment. SRS were nominated for this award for their tactical use of innovative recruitment technology to deliver outstanding results.

Use of Video: Recognising the ever-increasing use of creative video as part of recruitment marketing strategies, the ‘Use of Video’ Award category identifies companies that stand out from the crowd through video content. SRS have been nominated for the delivery of the highly impactful ‘Day in the Life of a Domiciliary Optometrist’ documentary-style video which headed a marketing campaign launched across social media. The video campaign has over 200,000 views to date, successfully engaging the hearts and minds of industry professionals across the UK.

In-house Recruitment Manager: Specsavers Recruitment Services’ Head of Recruitment, Rob Mould, won this nomination on behalf of SRS for once again leading the recruitment team to phenomenal results and delivering growth across the business.

Executive Search Strategy: SRS were nominated for this award for their strategic approach to both sourcing and engaging optical professionals. Performing executive search requires a range of initiatives often distinct from traditional recruitment processes. SRS’s 2018 strategy led to a significant increase in hires vs the prior year.

It's been a fantastic 12 months in terms of results for SRS, with the team placing more permanent staff in Specsavers stores than ever – hence being recognised alongside some of the UK’s best recruitment teams.

The Awards Gala takes place on 28th November at the Park Plaza in London.
