What was your background before joining Specsavers?
I worked in Executive Search and Talent Insight for an international consultancy.

How long have you been Specsavers?
2 years.

In a nutshell, what do you do?
I manage the Talent Acquisition team for the UK and Group Functions.

What does your typical day look like?
No two days are the same; my role can pull me into some really exciting and strategic global projects. Knowing that my contribution into these is valuable really gets me out of bed in the morning.

What makes you most proud of your time at Specsavers so far?
Happy stakeholders means the team is doing a great job and this makes me proud. When I see the talent we attract and what our name means in the market, I am particularly proud to work for this business that changes people’s lives so drastically.

How has Specsavers supported your development?
Specsavers have been amazing! Everything I have shown an interest in, and even areas I didn’t even know existed, I have been given exposure to. Things are always moving, changing, evolving so it feels like we’re all in the same boat, learning together.

What do you love about your job? What is a challenge?
I love the variety, the autonomy and the ever-changing landscape. The challenge? Also all of the above.
